Swiss watch brand Rado introduces this awe inspiring timepiece limited to just 999 pieces worldwide. Each watch is individually numbered and features a transparent sapphire crystal case back, allowing the impressive automatic movement inside to be viewed and admired. A handy reminder of the watches water resistance is also present, with up to a staggering 100 metres achieved by the brand. The entirety of this piece has been built from a combination of plasma high-tech ceramic and stainless steel, with the bezel and central section of the bracelet consisting of a varying colour tone creating a fantastic effect. The Ceramos™ material also contrasts brilliantly against the silver tone stainless steel crown and push buttons, as well as the bold blue dial. A tachymeter decorates the bezel and frames the eye catching dial, which is protected beneath a sturdy sapphire crystal glass dome equipped with anti-reflective properties. Grey hour batons and a white minute’s scale encircle the outer edge of the dial, with the current time displayed via the trio of dial hands. Luminescent properties have also been added to the dial allowing easy reading in low light. Three sub-dials represent chronograph hours, minutes and seconds and are accompanied by a date window positioned between the 4 and 5 o’clock indicators. Subtle hints of red in Rado’s signature logo and on the end of the second’s pointer provide the finishing touches, resulting in a truly masterful and desirable item for any collector.
